PAGE 1--My First 50 Years

Born on October 24, 1961 at 11:54 PM. The last of 4 kids to be born to Waymond and Tilda in the little town of Columbia Heights, Louisiana.  The baby...my siblings called me..."the only child."  Don't know why they called me that.  It's a 7 year difference betwix the eldest sibling and me.  The daughters conquered the beginning and the last birthrights with the sons being squeezed somewhere in the middle.  Life was filled with cousins! My mom was the 9th of 13 children and my father was the last of 8.  Be it safe to say, I had to marry someone that wasn't born in Louisiana to make sure that I wasn't related to them!  17, I graduated Caldwell Parish High School went right on to Northeast Louisiana University...experienced a little life and married at the ripe old age of 18.  21, beautiful Gabrielle Lauren was born.  23, handsome Jeremiah Dustin arrived.  Needless to say, I grew up very quickly.  27, I became a Licensed Practical Nurse.  29, a Registered Nurse. Louisiana and Florida were the life migratory states. 36, midlife crisis came about. 1st marriage ended. 38, had to go out of state again to make sure that I did not marry a relative and 2nd marriage began.  44... gorgeous granddaughter Ava was born.  48...cutie pie Quinn arrives. Believe me, there was plenty of life intermingled in those first 50 years...good and bad, but that's how life is.  Now, the next 50...let the rest of my life begin.
